Can I get pregnant from anal sex?
No. You cannot get pregnant from anal sex. For a pregnancy to occur, semen has to be in the vagina, which is connected the uterus. The butt is not connected to the vagina, so there’s no way for sperm to meet an egg. If the semen comes out of the anus and (somehow) gets on to your vulva and into your vagina, then you could get pregnant, but it’s unlikely. That being said, you can get STIs from anal sex so using a condom (or internal condom with the inner ring removed) is still a really good idea.
