What should I do if I have a miscarriage?

First of all, miscarriages are very common and it’s important not to blame yourself if it happens to you. There are three ways to deal with a miscarriage: you can “watch and wait,” giving your body time to pass the pregnancy on its own; you can take pills to help pass the pregnancy; or your provider can do a suction procedure to remove the pregnancy tissue from your uterus.
