Frisky Friday Top 5: Where to check in and get it on

A lot of our fave travel sites list the world’s sexiest hotels and we always swoon over the plush beds, sensual linens, killer views, and fabulous décor. Inspired by publications and websites like Travel + Leisure, Jetsetter, and Trip Advisor, here are five hotels that’ll make you want to hang the do-not-disturb sign the second you enter your room.

1. Night, New York
Seductive style. Provocative charm. Voted sexiest hotel in America by Trip Advisor. The entire place is dimly lit to simulate nighttime all the time. There’s erotic art in the lobby and a copy of the Kama Sutra in each room. Forget mood lighting, they have in-the-mood lighting; the beds are lit from below to create a sultry, ethereal glow.

2. Viceroy Riviera Maya, Mexico
Personal plunge pool overlooking the ocean. Private outdoor rain shower for two. Voted sexiest beds by Brides magazine. The candlelit villas are named after poets and the beds are adorned with rose petals and love poems.

3. Mystique, Santorini, Greece
Tranquil rooms carved into a volcanic cliff overlooking the Aegean Sea. Your own outdoor Jacuzzi. Voted one of the top 10 hotels in Turkey and Greece by Condé Nast Traveler readers. If you do leave your room, there’s an infinity pool and a secret wine cave available for private, romantic candlelit dinners.

4. Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Vietnam
You can only get there by boat. The look is beachside rustic-luxe so it’s earthy, comfy, and posh. Climb a few wooden steps from your room directly into the sea. Soak in a handcrafted wooden bathtub or shower outdoors amidst the exotic tropical scenery.

5. Hotel Puerta America, Madrid, Spain
A different avant-garde designer created every floor. Some rooms look like a sexy, futuristic boudoir you’d find on a spaceship. Others look like you’re sleeping inside a life-sized origami sculpture. (See them all here.) This hotel made the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List.

Honorable Mention: The Crib Suite at the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas
Stripper pole and nightclub lighting in the shower. Your own DJ Booth. Hydraulic bed that lifts and tilts for your pleasure. There’s a reason why the opulent, over-the-top Palms attracts celebrities, musicians, reality stars, and high rollers.
